They are keeping her today. Xray blood work. He checked her over and said looking at her there doesn't seem to be anything wrong. Sunday morning her liver was fine.

I do not have anything to add, except to say, ((hugs)) and we are all pulling for your baby.

She vey well could have eaten something which has gotten 'stuck' somewhere.

I had a cat who was known for eating anything but food. She ate elastics, twisty tie backs, lint, spiders, anything.

One time, I came home from work and heard that she had been vomiting a lot. No fur ball. I watched her vomit. She had something which came out and went back in!! I was scared. Called the Vet, took her right in. There was a sewing needle with thread still attached, lodged in her soft palate!! The Vet was able to just take a pair of clamps and pull it out...very scary--she was very lucky. My mom was mending some thing that day.

My cousin's dog, was vomiting like you kitty. Took his to the Vet, did and X-ray and say something in the bowel. They eventually had to do some surgery on him to get it out. Turns out he ate part of her curtains and her bed skirt. He was nervous because of moving from a large house with a yard to a small apartment with no yard. But the point is: He is healthy and happy now...

Fingers and paws for good news from you!

Please keep us updated!!

((hugs))

Thank you. I'm scared to death. She's my life. I have no children and she's my world. My heart is breaking. It's so lonely here without her.

I hope Vet can figured out what's wrong with her, poor baby.

We have to be very careful with our long hair, sometimes they can eat and swallow, it happens to Macha, luckily I was home and  now I am so extra careful.

She had surgery. They thought there was something in her bowel. There isn't. Her lymph nodes and pancreas were inflamed. Does anyone know what this is or the cause?

The vet should be able to give you some idea of what would cause this inflammation. I wish you and your baby girl all the best in her recovery.

Hi Mesha'a Mom.I'm sorry your little young one is having trouble.Cats stop eating for a lot of reasons but most being serious.I agree with Stephen on this one. You're vet to me is slacking.Your girl is young.Very young. If you have all her test results which you should. If not you are privy to all of them in paper form.Get them from your vet everything whether it is emailed to you or whatever. All bloodwork, xrays, urine testing ,ultrasound etc.have it all  with you.her pancreas should not be inflamed and is a serious thing.nothing should be inflamed. Please join this group at yahoo right away.they  are a wealth of informative people dealing with all inflammation, ckd, triaditis, etc. They could literally have Dr. in front of their names.I sent a member here yesterday who's kitty had acute pancreatitis. They joined and are so happy they did.The owner of the group walked him through the exact same procedure her late kitty had & well the rest is up to him to get a specialist. But he has hope now & some answers. If you don't have one I would recommend getting a referral to a board certified Internist. They are far more superior. The pancreatic group at yahoo you will have to join yahoo if you don't belong there.Just google making an account with yahoo.Free & hopefully fast.Make your posting lge New Member Young Cat not eating with inflammation of pancreas etc Pls help.OK? This is a high volume group but certainly they can read bw like the back of their hand & know why a certain number is higher & guide you to your next step in keeping your kitty in your life. Also find out if convenia was injected into your kitty. This is an antibiotic injectable.Designed for the skin but vets(stupid ones IMO) are using it with cancer kitties etc. This will not likely have anything to do with your girls symptoms as she had them prior to the injection. And you may not have had convenia at all.Pls google Convenia is it worth the risk. But pls join as inflammation of the pancreas is very painful & can be life threatening. Here is their link to join. You should have had a spec fPL test.Which is a blooddraw special for the pancreas.but if not it will have to be done. The pancreatic group will walk you through every step of the way. Here is their link . https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Feline_Pancreatitis_Support/info

Hoping Baby is feeling better real soon.Hugs C

Clearly something is wrong and hairballs aren't known to kill appetite.
Based on experience, must disagree.  I had a 1 yr old cat that was eating much like the OP's cat.... very little and only with lots of encouragement.  Vet visit showed nothing, like the OPs initial vet visit.  Sent home on anti-nausea and appetite stimulant.  Still wasn't eating more than bits for 2 more days and THEN puked up a huge hairball and life was 100% back to normal from then on.........
