This morning my boyfriend told me our cat Juniper caught and tortured a mouse last night in our 3 season porch. He told me this AFTER she just gave me her good morning kisses. Eew.

Mouse catching is normal behaviour for cats. To me, it's not as gross as being licked by a dog who's just eaten poop (my girl likes sheep, rabbit, horse and fox poop for snacking when she things we're not looking :nausea: ) :lol3:

A gift to you! This new cat of mine likes to bring her favorite toy in bed so now I'm freaked out that one day it will be a dead mouse. My neighbors might think I found a dead body when they hear my scream!

Well, gee!  I was frightened at ALL when Kricket brought me a mouse! LOL He was so proud and excited, he just HAD to wake me at the butt-crack of dawn to give it to me! After some hugs 'n kisses, I turned over and went back to sleep.

When we still had our old cat I once found a 'present' on our doorstep.  It was gruesome.  It was a mouse's face.  JUST the face and the mouth was open as if it were screaming.  One of our other former cats also once caught a grouse (chicken-sized bird).  He actually would eat the things he caught.  We found a mass of feathers and the beak in our garage.  Everything else was gone.

Oh my, that is super creepy! Thank goodness it was left outside. It's funny how these cute little kitties are natural killers yet we love them so. My killer is all pooped out next to me on the couch!

My cat tinky saw a mouse once. She screamed in the kitchen until I got out of bed to see what her issue was. She clawed her way up my bare leg until I held her tight. She was scared to death lol!

I don't know which one did it but one of them brought me a mouse one morning before I got out of bed. It would have been great to walk into the kitchen but NOOOOOO they had to put it in bed with me.

I wake up and throw the covers back to get out of bed and there is a dead mouse next to me. Yes it was under the covers, SURPRISE!!!!!
Talk about "breakfast" in bed. LOL

They never did tell me who did it so I'm assuming they were all in on it.

LMAO may be so. It was funny after the fact because as I carried it out of the bedroom and threw it outside they all sat and watched me to see what I would do.

I gave them all love and kisses just because it was sweet of them to bring me a present. LOL

The next thing was they brought a lizard in the house, it was alive and took a while to catch it. Sammy was intent on making sure we didn't because he would run it under the cabinets when we tried to catch it to put it out. I waited until he was out of the room to finally get it and put it out.

Oh the joys we have with our precious kitties!!!!!
