Happy Saturday everyone! :sun:

What is your cat's favourite toy?

For Asha, it's a little bird made out of shorn wool, buffalo hair and feathers. It has a tiny loop so it can clip onto Da Bird, but it's also safe enough for her to have to play with on her own. She loves it to bits!

For Shadow, his favourite toy is a big feather stick. It originally had lots of feathers (including a peacock feather) and mylar strips. It's now sadly lost all the mylar and most of the feathers. His love was just too strong :lol3:

None. My cats don't play with toys
Although Emma does like one particular sisal wrapped ping pong ball and will carry it around and even talk to it.

She had 2 she liked, one was feathers on a stick and the other was a rope on a stick. My son broke one and my daycare kid broke the other one...both within 10 minutes of each other.

Henry's not big on toys but he does have some little catnip animal ones that he likes to carry and fling around sometimes

like this one

Lilith and Sophie like wand toys. This is their favorite by far.

My two aren't into playing much with toys. Whisky likes to run around growling and blighty used to love playing with soft little balls. Sometimes he'd wake me up to throw it for him. I'd pick up this soaking slimy ball with my eyes still closed yuk.
But now they sleep and play with each other.

Luke absolutely loves the laser pointer. If he even hears me pick it up he runs right over with his eyes wide and waits for me to use it.

Lucien is obsessed with this big stuffed white rat filled with catnip. He tried to rip it out of the bag when I first brought it home, and he loves tackling it and kicking it to death.

Camelot never was interested in playing with anything, even as a wee one. Except for butterflies, he liked hunting butterflies. Not mice, not flies, not toys....butterflies.  (Behold! Camelot the mighty and vicious BUTTERFLY HUNTER! Be afraid!)

Morgana on the other hand, loves her fuchsia/orange feather stick. She also enjoys leaping and catching bugs when they are flying mid air, playing with her food, playing with my feet on the bed
and her little hide and seek style games, where she hides somewhere (Usually unsuccessfully. A tail, a bum, paws or a pair of ears tend to give her away) does the bum wiggle, eyes go wide, and proceeds to pounce on me.

...with the cats...
snick loves catnip toys, especially the cosmic catnip toys. she also loves the handmade catnip stuffed toys i gave her last christmas, especially the long catnip filled snake.

our jaspurr loves catnip toys, but (just like our mickey did) he gets 'overly enthusiastic' with them and quickly starts ripping at them using his teeth. so i avoid catnip stuffed toys for jaspurr, but do always have dried catnip on hand for him -- which snick also enjoys. i think jaspurr's favorite toys are toy mice -- pretty much any kind, but without catnip in them.

both cats love the cat dancer wand toy that has the rainbow colored fleecey cloth dangling from it.  they're very good about taking turns with it too.

Da bird, his balls he loves to play soccer with, as well as his little mice, but he also like the laser, when ever I decide to get it out.

Our cats have each their own plastic balls with a bell in the middle. It always wakes me up.

They have got a lot of cat nip filled mice, balls with bells in and various wand toys but as they can catch stuff out in their enclosure they prefer live "toys". At the moment it's big dusty moths that they catch outside and bring in to show me. Nice.
