How quickly will RAIN impact Cat who won't get out of the Storm ?

Been taking care of cat who was injured/sick

For last several days he has been doing great, eating and drinking water.

But never starys from his protected shelter.

We had blast of Indian Summer today.

I saw him finally taking a nice walk around yard.

But now there is a DELUGE of rain outside and he is just propped up against fence and getting soaked.

Like he is brain damaged and doesnt know to get out of rain.

He is under a 75 foot fir tree, but he is going to be in mud shortly.

huge amount of thunder/lightening outside, so I am a bit concerned to keep running out to check on him. (I am typing this while soaking wet !

He is an semi-feral, right?  So probably he will survive.  He is used to rough conditions.

But if you think you can grab him and manage to hold him (use perhaps a thick towel or something, and wrap him up, or even trow everything on him head and all)

its the safest and best.

But if yo cant, let him be and hope for the best.

Good luck
