He's around 5-6months old and he has not used the litter box at all since i clipped his nail too short yesterday. I saw blood around the area but it did not bleed to the extent that i would have to put flour or anything on the cut. I did not notice blood on his hair around the nail and no blood on floor either, so i assumed the bleeding had stopped. He is not licking that paw either. He's walking/eating normal but he seems disinterested in playing. His paw/nail also appears normal.

I don't think i am going to trim his nails myself again. and i am taking him to a professional tomorrow to get the remaining nails trimmed. Vet will be expensive, but if my kitten needs vet attention then ofcourse i will take him....but do you think i should take him to the vet or is this normal after a nail clipping accident?

I tried putting him in the litter box. but he didn't dig. he ran away.

Is he eating an drinking normally?  If his intake is the same, then I wonder if he's going somewhere else.  I would think it'd be hard for a "toddler" to hold it that long.

You could try removing the litter and putting an old towel or puppy pad, or even some "todays news" or other type of litter that isn't hard on their paws in the box and see what happens, although some cats don't like a change in litter and won't use the box simply because of that.

For a claw trimmed to closely, not worth a Vet visit, for a cat not pottying, definitely worth a visit, however, you probably should verify that's what's happening.  I do think he might be doing it somewhere else.
