Hi I'm new here my cat Molly got out about two months ago and only returned about two weeks ago a week ago I noticed she was getting fat and her nipples were pink I'm pretty sure she is pregnant but just how far I'm not sure I'm feeding her high quality kitten food twice a day and leaving dry food out all the time to have as she wishes judging by the pics how far do you think she is ???

Nipples pink up around day 21, and you say you noticed about a week ago, so she's probably 4 weeks along. Cat pregnancy runs 9-10 weeks, or 65 days on average.

Her nipples could of been pink when she first got back I just didn't look till she started getting fat her stomach is really tight and I've been able to feel the kittens moving for about a week and a half as well

Well then, with this additional information, she may only have another couple of weeks at the most.

You should make a nest for her and read some of our articles on cat pregnancy and kitten care.

Pregnant cats can get very big. They also eat a lot. Shedding is also normal.

If she has truly "dropped", which is kittens moving down toward the birth canal in preparation for birth, it should be only a couple of days.

There is no way to know until they are born.

If her milk is coming in she is getting very close.

Have you made a nest for her?

Yeah I've made a couple of nest for her she seems to prefer a plastic toy bin trolley so I've put some newspaper and a towel in there for her she's still eating heaps ...I thought maybe people might know because of genetics lol oh well will have to wait and see :)

Oh! Oh! I know!

If you take the X gene and....

(blah blah blah)

...they'll all be beautiful.

Good luck with her birth, make sure to post pics of momma and baby (babies)!
