My Cat got out the house two months ago. And now she's bleeding from her vagina. She spotting on the floor now, but there's one other problem, she doesn't have no lumps in her belly at all. She's does have large nipples, her belly is a little plumped and she is acting so affectionate. Now I know I should've got her fixed but on the month I was getting her fixed, she got out the door. She's suppose to get an abortion on the 15 and the spay. But idk if she's even pregnant. There's no knots. But she's showing all the signs of pregnancy. Help!

Going to call the vet in the morning.

It sounds like it's too late for an abortion. That would have needed to happen right after she got out of the house.

Sounds to me like she's about to have kittens from the behavior that you describe. Since she got out 2 months ago she would be just about full-term now. Cat pregnancy is about 65 days.

Go ahead and speak to the vet, but the spay will need to wait a few weeks since kittens are almost here.

A small amount of pinkish discharge is normal. What's happening with her now?

She's acting normal. And everything. She eating. Using the restroom and she's drinking water. Still active. She's just bleeding from down below. And now that she's bled a little bit her tummy is now flat. Idk. I'm taking her to the vet for a check up now.

I think the vet check is a good idea. They may need to do an x-ray to see if there are any kittens inside her. Perhaps she has miscarried.

Please let us know what the vet says.

The bleeding is in little drops and the vet said that she was not pregnate. She also said with the amount of blood from the night before that she may have had some still born babies. So yes they say it's a miscarriage. We've been looking all over the house for some babies but haven't found any. They say they don't know where the blood has come from but she should be fine. She got some shots today and her spay was scheduled.

They did an ultrasound of her belly.

It's certainly good to know what's going on and that she'll be okay. Glad she is getting spayed soon too. It is possible that she ingested what she may have passed. I hope your kitty continues to get better.

Thank you so much. Really. She's alright now. Still little droplets of blood but it's getting lesser and lesser as the days pass. Idk if she ingested it. She could have but they didn't tell me that she could've ingested it. I didn't even ask. I don't even know if cats do that. But I'm glad she's getting better and her spay is coming. She's 2 years old now. They said they send pain meds home with the cat after the spay but now I'm worried about how she'll react. I'm just a mess. I use to be scared to get my females spayed cause I didn't want them in pain.

I know THAT feeling, I got sick to my stomach with this last spay a few weeks ago. And you know what? She came through with flying colors and acted like she had never had surgery! She was running around, literally, within hours. We had to let her out because she was so upset with the carrier. So try not to worry, everything will be OK, I'll say a little prayer for her.

Thank you!! Yes I'm so nervous about the spay but I have to do this for my baby. I just have to. I don't want her to go into heat and try to escape the house and end up with babies again. I can't let her suffer so I'll do it. I have to. Phew. Lol. At least they send home a few days of pain meds.

I adopted a stray mama cat and had her spayed when her babies were 8 weeks old and still nursing. She did great! I brought her home just a few hours after her surgery. I did give her the pain meds for about 3 days, but she was nursing her kittens again that day, and is a happy, healthy kitty now with no more worries about heat cycles and babies.

It's normal to be nervous, but she'll be fine, and you will be relieved and glad when it's over.

Thank you for your story sarthur2. I'm glad being nervous is normal cause I sure am nervous. But the more I hear your stories and others and read about it then I'll be alright. I'll get threw this and it'll go away. I just like to hear what people have been threw first.
