(I hate cold season)
We're giving our 11-12 week old kitten amoxicillin (vet's orders) to get over a cold (URI), for the last two days he's had a clogged nose. I sat in the bathroom with steam for about 10 minutes and he sneezed twice and was able to breath without any problems for a few moments. But it returned soon after we left the bathroom. I feel so horrible watching my baby go through this I'm actually sick to my stomach that he's going through this. I know all we really can do is continue the antibiotics but I want to help treat some symptoms, too.
So I'm wondering what nasal drops could work for him so he can breath better until the cold is gone. I've read contradicting opinions, some people say it's safe others say it's not safe. Same for Vicks vapor rub.
Can anyone tell me what brands of nasal drops and vapor rub I can use, if at all?
