Hello all,

Recently about a month ago my cat was neutered and all was great.

Now all of a sudden, 18 hours ago, he peed on my bed for the first time after he was neutered.

Then right now he peed again so I decided to google it.

He is a male, and I've read that its extremely dangerous and he may die within a 24 hour period.

This caused me to be extremely worried and I really need a quick response because if it is urgent I will take him to the vet.

It is late but if it is urgent I will take him.

He peed in the exact same place as he did before which is not surprising but it was a large amount.

If there is any information that I need to add please let me know and I will reply immediately.

It is when they strain and nothing comes out you need to rush him to the vet because that's in all likelihood a blockage and they'll die if they do not get er attention. It does sound like he is passing urine but probably still has issues maybe an infection that is why he's peeing in odd places. He needs a vet visit. None of us are vets and a professional opinion is what you need. I have been through the urinary blockage issue and it's different nothing comes out and the kitty is vocal about discomfort because nothing is passing. I assume what you have googled are urinary blockages and not urinary infections. As long as he is passing urine rushing him to the vet isn't a matter of life or death but he does need medical attention sooner rather than later.

Okay, thank you so much.

I'll take him to the vet tomorrow.

Yes, its still not good when they urinate in wrong places. But when they are in visible distress and are not passing any urine or only a tiny bit, then that's an emergency. Great advice given by hexiesfriend.
