my cat got hurt pleaae help

My cat has gotten hurt. Not sure what really happen. I went to the store and my husband called me saying something is wrong with Tig. He said he heard a sound come out of the kitchen. He went in to check it out and the trash can was knocked over. I'm hoping he didn't fall off the window seal and hit the trash can. Tig won't walk on his leg he refuse to walk. But when he is able he hiss and does all that and won't put any weight on his leg. We had found him last week running around my kids school. His is still little. I took him hoping to find his owners BC I was scared he would get hit by a car but know one claimed him. Please help. I'm very upset. My other two cars are upset as well BC I put tig in the carrier so he doesn't move a lot.

He has to see a vet as soon as you can.Carrier is a good idea. With food/water & hopefully big enough for a litterbox at he back & blankey.I would take him first thing tomorrow.C

That's what I was a fraid of, I was in a car wreck so I don't have money for it but I'll have to tell them I found him BC I did. I have money to feed him and all just not this at the moment. Just breaks my heart. I don't have a littler box in there BC he cralwed in it and just later there [emoji]128533[/emoji] poor baby. I feel so bad I saves him form getting hit by Cars and all and he gets hurt here

I did give him food and water and a blanky

I hope you're able to get him to the vet first thing in the morning. Call around until you find one who will work with you.  In the meantime, here's some information that might help you with payment options.

Hi Felicia.You didn't do the wrong thing.You did the right thing.it could be a sprain.is the kitten in a very small crate or something? I used to just use a small box cut down to like 1/12 tall.Like a flat.Does not have to be very big.I once caught an adult feral in a crate and could only fit a shoe box size box in there.She used it fine for a couple of days.Everything will be alright.This kitten is alive because of you!!! Things happen.Kittens will be curious.Pls check out the link Stephanie gave you ok.See if you can find a small box.& litter.Any neighbors have cats?They may be able to help.You made the right decision.Hugs C.
