The day before yesterday my cat got out of the house and no one noticed him, an hour after we found him and took him back. He seemed to be really nervous. He was panting and breathing really fast, when he calmed down I put him some good and he ate really normally.
But after that he hasn't really been eating anything but treats(cheese and dry treats) hes normally quite picky, but he always eats in the end.

He vomited yesterday, but I thought it's just the normal hairball. He didn't vomit again
His poop is normal
He has been sleeping all day though, which isn't like himself [emoji]128543[/emoji]
I tried playing with him a bit and he did react a bit, but not much
I'm really worried about him[emoji]128543[/emoji] I don't know if it's because He got out, or if somethings wrong[emoji]128534[/emoji] I don't know what i should do[emoji]128542[/emoji][emoji]128542[/emoji][emoji]128542[/emoji]

It could be that he had a bad scare and will calm down more in a few days.  It is also possible he got into something, so check with your neighbors and make sure nobody had sprayed insecticides or herbicides freshly around the time he got out.  My cats have had this sort of reaction when dogs got inside my fence, and it has taken several days for them to relax again.  This has happened 3 times in 11 years, and the last time the dogs killed one of my cats before I could get to them, and my cats are STILL on edge.  My property is totally fenced (an acre) so I am not sure how they got in but will find the place and repair it.

Hi Nourhanyl.Food is life.two days & the liver starts to change.you have to get something into your kitty. The vomit you saw that you presumed to be a hairball was there actually hair in it? Did you sift through or was it food or?? Many stupid people out there that still put poison for rats & still use toxic slug bait & yes spray their lawn with insecticide.you know your kitty the best.more than any of us.i once has 18 differnt catfoods, flavors etc from petsmart to entice eating. But right now even tuna, salmon anything.Gerber's stage 2 babyfood chicken holds over 100 calories per jar.Do you have any catnip? If so sprinkle it all over the place around your kitty. But pls get something eaten or you won't be able to.The longer they go without food the worse they get.As for the dog killing Red Dog's cat I would have killed that Dog owner period. That is horrific.I'm sorry Red Dog.But truly at this point you can't sit around waiting for kitty to get it's bearings.Food of any kind.Now.C.

Thank you very much. He did eat a bit, i don't let him go for a day without any food at all
The vomit was bile with some hair in it.
I think I'll be taking him to the vet tomorrow if he isn't better by morning, he vomited again just now, there was almost no hair in it just a bit of a yellow liquid.
I do have some catnip but he usually doesn't react to it, he just likes to eat it, would it make him calm if I sprinkled some?
I know he got into our neighbour's flat, I live in a building and it's door is always closed so I'm sure he didn't wander outside
Red Top Rescue I'm sorry to hear about your loss

Hi Nourhany1.I too think it would be best.Catnip may calm your babe or one of those feliway plug ins.But your baby is vomiting for a reason.I don't think it is stress related but possibly she snacked on something outside your place.Maybe I am just guessing. You know her best. This is not being her so i wouldn't hesitate.I have seen cats ingest toxins before & pass before the owner does something. There are toxins everywhere & honestly we don't know what they do.Nor do they realize some things are toxic & even deadly to them. Also in all honesty there are just a whole bunch of really cruel people out there. Some people hate cats & will kick it like a football.I believe you can feliway in spray form too.Which is pheromones.Which can help possibly.HTH Hope she is back to herself very soon.Keep feeding her.Hugs C.

Sorry for not updating, I had a lot of assignments to finish
He's all good now thank god[emoji]128513[/emoji] I put around some catnip like you've told me.
He started eating normally now, and he's became his active self again, no more vomiting. However I will try to take him to the vet for a check up
Thank you very much[emoji]9786[/emoji][emoji]9786[/emoji][emoji]9786[/emoji]
