Our household has six cats; Momma, Asia, Spot, Princess, Slipper, and Ra. Our area has been getting rain alternating with heavy rain and, for a change once or twice a day, mist. Naturally the cats don't want to go out into the wet. (I don't want to go out into the wet.) But the fact remains that they usually (before the weather system hit) spend most of their time outside running around, climbing trees, hunting small animals, etc. Now they have no outlet for that energy other than people play (and, sadly, most of the people in this house are lazy). They've been playing so hard that they've actually destroyed most of their toys and scratching posts.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to deal with that energy until the storm system passes and they can go out again?
