Tia was pregnant, surprised with kittens

here's another pic of tia's babies and a bit of tia. The second kitten from the left looks just like her pretty much. the two spotted kittens look like one of the fathers. Not sure where the grey one came from that's the runt as well who is doing much better now.

Looks like a healthy bunch there! The little gray kitten is definitely the runt. Probably going to be an attractive gray cat eventually. I love gray cats!

They look great! So cute. Nice work

thank you  moma cat is doing a majority of the work. I'm just helping a bit here and there.

between last evening and this evening they all gained at least 7 grams one gained 16. Watching over them again and trying to help the one that lost a gram get a little extra nipple time until advised farther. the one that lost a gram was the largest now it's another one that's the largest. Hopefully my scale is just alittle messed up I did drop it after all. But the bowl still registers at 122 or 123 grams.

They are doing well!

yay I was worried about kitten 3 but that ones back up to 141 so it looks like we're good.

Everyone's doing well. Mama's getting tons of food and still acts like she's starving. We keep dry food down for her at all times. I will be getting a case or two of wet food as soon as I can. We have both adult and kitten dry food down for her.

Yay these guys have fleas too thankfully I got a tube of advantage that I can put on her. The trick is going to be getting everyone else treated. The four older kittens and the other adults and the dog.

I'll post todays weights alittle later.

You'll need to buy Advantage II for dogs. The price is similar, and you get 4 tubes, but there is a lot more product in the dog tubes. It is the exact same product as in the cat Advantage. This way, using a syringe, you can apply some to the mama cat and older kittens, along with the dog, and still have tubes left over.

Okay, I will look into that Tuesday after I get paid right now I'm just wanting to get the new mama treated because I know the babies are suffering their gums and tongues are starting to pale out  but they seem fine right now but I know how fast that can change.

Yep, definitely treat mom. It will help the babies.

I'm not sure my scale is accurate it's acting kinda odd. I'll look into getting a new one or finding the other one I have around here.

The kittens seem fine now other wise, not a flea in sight. I'm watching over them all myself or my fiance is when I'm at work or asleep. Most of them seem to do thier largest gains overnight when the house is quiet. I think Mom's nervous during the day with all the activity. I wish I had a quiet place to move her too. I covered the nest and that's helped some what. I'll work something out soon as I'm off the next two days.

Weights look good. An accurate scale would be helpful. As long as they gain well and consistently every day, it doesn't matter that it occurs overnight. In fact, only weighing them every morning would be fine .

Okay, I was just doing it twice a day to keep track of any issues they might have. It'll be easier to just weigh them every morning anyway. That would help with the stress on mom too.
