Yay, was my thoughts when I saw the weights tonight. Mama isn't to happy about me weighing them and will try to take them back. I let her occasionally helping her gently move the kitten back into the box.
He's to hoping my scale is a bit off but no one is losing that's a good thing. Weights for today are.

Going to go try to get some kmr and a few other things. I'm low on funds til the 13th. I do have some canned double strength goat milk in the freezer. I put it in a zip lock bag after I opened it to give Patches kittens and it turned out they liked the KMR better. It sat in the fridge for a few days then I froze it to use later on. Would that be okay to use if I need to. Watered down of course. I can afford some liquid KMR as well but only just. I am just asking so if I need to supplement I can do so. I want these guys to be nice and strong too.
Okay it'll be next tuesday when I can get the powdered KMR. As long as everyone's weights look good I'm not going to interfere to much. Kitten four doesn't seem to have a voice. I pick that one up and I see their mouth move like their mewing but there isn't a sound to it. Everyone else has a nice strong mew. Moma is eating quite a bit I fill her bowl and it's nearly empty again not to long after so I refill it. I need to get her a larger bowl so she has plenty of dry food out. going to try to get some good wet food a bit later today and some kitten food for the other four and the new mama
My scale may be off by a gram either way. I try to weigh them around the same times every day but it doesn't always work that way. But either way looking at weights from last evening and this.

Kitten 4 concerns me. The smallest and seemingly the weakest though he's still got some strength to him only gained four grams over the last 24 hours.I have been trying to get him extra nursing time without stressing moma out to much but it's hard to juggle the other four and keep them from knocking him off. But a gain is better than a loss so I will take what I can get.
That's what I just did the larger four are all sleeping so the little one is getting some peaceful nursing time on the preferred teat. 4 and 5 fight over one teat and I constantly have to move five to another teat so four can nurse as 5 is large enough to knock 4 off. told my fiance to watch for that tonight and give them a little extra help when needed
My thoughts too. Kitten four seems to be getting stronger and is even defending his fav teat now. I even heard a couple of mews when I picked him up. Still mostly silent though.
