My cat Kissyfur has a sensative tummy so we feed what doesn't upset her stomach. They both are very picky.
Dry foods: Purina One Sensative Systems, Wellness and Blue Buffalo Wilderness Chicken

Wet Food: Friskies Indoor , Friskies Tasty Treasures with cheese are the only ones they will eat and not vomit afterwards

Oh, and Temptations... as much as one of my cats eats of that, it might as well be considered her dry food of choice.

Dry : Performatrin Grain-Free Kitten Formula (only kind I've tried so far)

Wet:   Weruva, Wild Calling, WHISKAS (cheap, kitties actually like it, no grains, will have real meat listed...sometimes as first ingredient)

My kitten Pickles is the same way.  I only let her because she is so picky and needs to put on more weight.

yeah, and food that ends up in the garbage, no matter how healthy the lable says it is, will do them no good :D

My daughter used to get mad at me for just letting her eat treats, but after a couple of months of having them whenever she wants them, she now regulates herself on them and I would say AT LEAST 1/4 of her diet is regular dry food and 1/4 of her diet is wet food.  Its hard to be accurate on the wet food as there are multiple cats eating it, and none of them finish it when you set it out... they graze.  It works for us.

Yep.  It's most important that the kitties are being fed.  My kitties were born as barn cats so they would either have been put down or possibly starved when it was time to leave their parents (my friend owns both the mother and the father and is keeping their sister plus another kitten their mother had adopted into the litter so there is a lot of competition for the field mice).
