it's a nice quiet sunday morning here. i just made breakfast for snick and jaspurr, then made my breakfast. sometimes on a weekend day i'll feel motivated to make something more than just a bowl of cereal with milk, though i didn't today.

with breakfast on my mind, for today's Question of the Day.........

What is your favorite breakfast?

i'll start!

i think my favorite breakfast would be french toast with either maple or blueberry syrup, and some crisp bacon on the side. of course, i'd dip the bacon in the syrup as i ate it!

so, how about you?

Eggs Benedict with home fries and coffee. I rarely have it more than once a decade or so though.  I'll add something else- soft boiled eggs with toast and hot tea

An omelet with ham, cheese and if I have some good fresh tomatoes some of those diced.  With the omelet some toast, orange juice and of course coffee.

GMTA, Denice! Add some green peppers to the omelet and maybe some mushrooms. Maybe a few home fries. Throw in a couple thick slices of sourdough toast to the mix and I'll be a happy camper.

I love big English breakfasts, with the beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, along with the eggs and sausage and toast! I've only had them in the U.K. since nobody serves them here, and there are just too many dishes to make it all at home.

Pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes! Yum.

Although I usually just eat leftovers for breakfast.

Soft boiled eggs, with toast "soldiers" to dip into the hot yolk - lots of freshly cracked black pepper and sea salt.

A couple of pieces of center cut bacon on the side.

Bacon and Eggs!

Second place, hash browns with a bit of mayo, or pancakes, or scrambled eggs with cheese.

(And always with a cup of coffee. Cannot live without coffee
)

sometimes in the summer months, i'd just have the leftover vegetable side dishes from dinner the night before for my breakfast -- when i was a teen.

i love pancakes almost as much as french toast!
