Natures variety instinct

Bought 12 cans of chicken on sale. Cats don't like it, gave to my feral! Oh well!

This is exactly why I don't buy more than 1 or 2 cans of ANYTHING until I'm sure my cats like something.

Same here! (And I've lost count of the number of times I've been CONVINCED they liked something before a bulk order, only to have them refuse to even look at it within 24 hrs of the bulk buy coming home. It's a conspiracy, I'm sure of it.......)

My kitty has been eating Nature's Variety Instinct for the last three years:  Duck (which she loves), Venison (which she also loves), Rabbit (she loves this too, but it makes her sick most of the time), and Pork (another favorite).  I started buying her food at the store, until I learned it was cheaper in bulk and started buying online (my bad).  All four flavors have been easy to buy (except for shortages of rabbit) until very recently.  For some reason, all local stores, and almost all online stores, have stopped stocking the Pork flavor, and I haven't been able to find any sort of explanation online.  If anyone has any ideas about why the Pork formula is disappearning, I'd truly appeciate any information.

At least they didn't go to waste! Yeah, my cats don't like it either. My kittens aren't even that picky but they did not want it at all.

It's available at chewy.com Might be an issue with their pork supplier. You can always email the company and ask.

Mine do that too. Henry was on a Soulistic kick. Good Karma and Harvest Sunrise. It was all he wanted so I went to Petco for more and they were almost out since they were on sale so I got enough to last about a week and went home and ordered 8 cans of each online. The next day he decided he didn't want it anymore. Fortunately the girls like it so kept it.

I know it said something on the news about bacon prices going up, there was some type of pig flu and a shortage of pork in US

Our cats don't really like NVI much, either. It's very good food (other than picking out the peas!) but the two of them won't even finish a small can. At least your feral is happy!

Silly me, never could resist a sale, if they ate Pride, I figured they would eat NVI, wrong again. At least I have 3 trys, Miss fussy pants, my big boy, the furry disposal unit, and my TNRd little feral girl outside![emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]128062[/emoji]

If you're referring to NV's original pork formula, that, I believe, has been replaced with NV's LID pork which is available now at some indy stores as well as Petco.

My cats were diagnosed with a chicken allergy a couple years ago, however, after reintroducing chicken occasionally the last few months, they are okay with it.

I picked up Instint's canned chicken/turkey, they loved it. Duck/turkey they usually like as well as Pride, however, the latter is too carby plus I don't like giving them food with spinach.
