Hello every cat lover out there!

I need some help. But by the time you respond to my post, my cat will probably be fine. But I thought I'd give this a chance to see if I'd receive quick responses.

My cat Caesar is the (second) love of my life! (First is my newly husband, of course!) Sounds like a crazy cat lady would be saying this.. so maybe I am one! And I'm totally ok with that! Lol. Caesar has moved three times with me. Once to my husbands house when we were dating, then we took a big trip out to Chicago (about a 14 hour drive), then we moved back to my parents, and then 2 minutes away from my parents. Caesar is very used to my parents house. When we moved back to my parents house, it was like as if he was home. We just moved to our new home and he has been meowing all night, and bugging the heck out of us! I am now up with him because that seems to help. He did this when we moved to Chicago and it only lasted a night or two. I hate to hear him like this! Breaks my heart.. so I thought I'd ask you guys to see if you have any suggestions on how to help him at night. During the day hes totally fine since were up and moving around and giving him attention.

I hope you all are having a great weekend!

Thanks mucho!

Gaby

There is not really much you can do, he is scared and unsure in his new environment and will eventually calm down. I suspect it is taking longer this time because each move will be a little harder and he will be a little older and less apt to want change in his life. CATS HATE CHANGE! You might try to give him a really nice place to call his own, for mine it is a heated pet mat, wherever I put it that is where they will be, they absolutely LOVE them. Leave some of your worn clothing nearby to give comfort, and keep some 'calming treats', found on Amazon, on hand to help with his anxiety. Bless you for having the patience and  compassion for this sweet little one, it warms my heart to hear of people that  love animals like I do! All the luck and keep us posted!
