newborn kittens can't find nipples to feed??

my cat gave birth to two beautiful kittens an hour ago, the problem is the mother is lying there licking the kittens and waiting for them to start feeding but they can't find the nipples because the mom is kinda hairy around that area. i do not know what to do and i do want these kittens, please any advice would be helpful.

Right, most often the fur around the nipples falls off - in part by itself, but in part because the mom is licking them off...

I suspect you must trim them off somewhat.

And actively help them kittens to find the nipples.

Do the kittens otherwise seem healthy and decently vigorous?

If they seems too weak to nurse, you can try and help them by giving kmr / goat milk with a syringe.

IF so, exactly how to do it we will take when so is.

We had to help one of Poppy's kittens to the right place, I just popped a rubber glove on to ensure I didn't get my scent on the new borns!

How are they getting on?

thanks for the reply guys, they figured it out some hour later, the queen kept meowing at my mom until we figured out that she wants us to help them get into the spot. the kitties got the hang of it now and are sleeping peacefully with their mom. :')
