Can anyone recommend a good vitamin supplement for my cat. We don't know how old he is, He has no teeth so its hard to tell. The Vet does think that he's probably 7+. I want something for joint health because he sometimes get stiff in his lower back/hips. He had a vet apt today and He's in perfect health she recommended we try a vitamin supplement.

Anything from a pet store or vet clinic like Hip & Joint chews will help a lot. My dog has hip problems and I always make sure he is somewhere warm, and in the morning I rub his hips, legs, and that little bone right before the foot every morning it really helps. Also whats up with his eyes? did the vet say or ask anything or is it just a lot of discharge? You might also want to try feeding him something high calorie like EVO pet food

He has no eyes. we picked him up as a stray in December 2014. The vet said that he probably got and eye infection as a kitten and his eyes popped. The vet said it wasn't necessary to close his sockets and that it was safer to just leave them open. He also has no teeth so I would need a liquid vitamin supplement.

I would ask your vet then about something like Liquid Glucosamine, Cats sometimes still can chew on soft joint treats but I guess in your case liquid might be best.

Thats what she recommended but the brand they carry was out of my price range. The type they have is a capsule that can be opened and mixed into his food.
