Good morning everyone :sun:

Apart from cats, do you have any animals/pets?

I have two dogs (a labrador and a greyhound), and an Exmoor pony.

No. We find that the six cats keep us plenty busy.
Maybe once we retire, we'll get a dog. But not right now.

Not currently
I want to have gerbils again or maybe guinea pigs but I don't trust my cats around anything small and furry
I had gerbils at the time when I got the cats as kittens. The cats wanted to eat the gerbils and were constantly plotting how to get into the tank
The gerbils passed away not long afterwards due to old age (one lived to just over 4 years!).

None. We used to keep a few fish; but gave them up when life felt too busy with just cats and kids.

I used to want 6 cats and 2 dogs. Apparently human kids equal 6 pets in my book because I'm satisfied with our crew now.

I have two elderly cats. I would love to have a Boxer and a standard brown poodle but due to my health I'm just not able to care for any more animals.

Nope, just the two cats.  But I have a mass of birdlife and have three birdbaths that local birds play in very happily.

And theykeep the furkids entertained (who needs TV, they say...

We just have the 2 cat's. That's all the budget will allow for unfortunately.
That's pretty much the way it is here, too. I think that, as these kids pass on, we won't be getting other cats. It's not that we don't want them, but our budget probably won't allow for them the way it does right now. I hope that makes sense.

OTOH, Rick has often said that he doesn't think we were ever be totally without cats. And I have to say that I can't really envision our lives being catless. Simply put, cats just have so many ways to enrich our lives. But maybe just two.
