Weird Foods My Cat Likes

When he was 3 months old, I took in a stray kitten who we named Minnow. How we found him? He was hiding under a bush and came out to eat a dropped McDonald's fry!

Minnow loves odd foods. I've tried to make sure all won't harm him, but I just wanted to make sure I'm not giving him anything bad.

A list of (human) foods he likes:

-cantaloupe

-bread (any type, though he LOVES white and wheat bread)

-french fries

-froot loops

-carrots

Are any of these dangerous to his health?

What kind of human foods does your cat like?

Artie will only eat certain types of cheeses. He loves Monterey Jack and Muenster.

He likes to sniff all my food, especially fish, but he does not care to eat any of it.

I do not think it is wise to give you cat all those things. Once in a while, a taste may be ok, but I do not know. 

Got on the ASPCA website, There is a list of poinsonous foods for cats...

I do know, chocolcate, grapes, raisins, tomatoes, onions, and garlic are very dangerous to cats.

Seems as if a lot of cats like cantaloupe; and watermelon

I usually don't give him them, besides cantaloupe and bread. I take pills in the morning and eat a bite of a piece of bread afterward to make sure the pill goes down. I usually tear off a piece of the bread, very small, and give it to him. 

With the cantaloupe, he has so much trouble eating it because the pieces are wet so when he drags them to the floor, they slide around before his jaws can get a good grip on them! I myself don't eat much cantaloupe, so when I do, I usually give a piece to him. 

When I was little, my cat Mocha would chew on anything and everything. To our dismay she enjoyed chewing on electrical cords, though we stopped her every time we caught her. She loved to lap at frozen Gogurts of mine too, even taking turns with me.
