Hi

I've just bought this food and would like to know if the "fishy" smell is normal.

It's not expired and the cats really like it, I'm just wondering if it's normal. The best way I can describe it is it really does smell like fish or turtle dry food. Maybe because it has fish on the composition?

I used to give Royal Canin Sterilised and wanted a better option. The majority of their food is wet food from Gourmet Gold though.

Should I be worried? Is it normal because it's more organic?

Sorry if I'm being extra nagging!

Thanks a lot!

Orijen does smell quite fragrant, but I don't really think it smells fishy. I can't really put my finger on what it smells like to me, other than kibble.  I think as long as your cats are eating it and no one is having a reaction it's fine. If it was off your cats probably wouldn't touch it.
