Hi,

My 5 month old kitten Ozzy seems to be losing his baby teeth and his adult ones are coming in. But he is looking a little peekish, his third membrane was visible for 2 days. Apart from that, he is absolutely fine, eating, drinking, playing. I know I am probably overreacting, I've read up on it and I assume it is a painful process just like for humans. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice. His 3d membrane has gone completely down now.

Another problem, don't laugh! He does this kneading thing, which is normal, but then it turns into a sort of humping of my arm and when I check, he is, let's say "excited". There is a discharge, only I don't know if it's urine or something else. I told my vet, but he didn't have much to say. Is it a form of spraying or is he humping my arm??

Thanks

No advice on teeth, as my kittens teeth all came in no problems.

For your other, ahem, issue: We have 5 male kittens right now and our good friends have the brothers of 2 of them. Of the 7 kittens, 3 of them did what you were describing when they were about 4-5 months old. It stopped on their own - I would suspect it's a hormonal thing.
