I've been getting emails with pictures of Hannah as she goes through the repair process. Poor car. Poor, poor car. The front bumper was removed, along with pretty much everything but the rear door on the passenger side. The back bumper was also removed. The new pieces have been painted and they're getting ready to put her back together. Still on track to pick her up tomorrow night after work. I know she's just a car, but honestly I felt bad for her. She's four years old and has a little over 30,000 miles and she's going through major "surgery". (I kinda feel like the guy in the insurance commercial who considers his car his baby. And at the end of the commercial, he goes in to get his car and the "baby" is playing with tires.

Thanks, Carol. I'm a little worried about the paint matching up OK.

And....she's home. Looks pretty good, too. Of course, just as I left the garage to drive home with her, the sky opened and it started to pour. The garage did a fine job.

Glad you got her back Pam and you're happy with the results.

I stopped at Dunkin Donut this morning on my way into work, picked up a dozen donuts and dropped them off at the garage. I said, "You guys did a great job on my car and I appreciate the time and effort you put into fixing my Tucson. Thank you." They gave me hugs!

Winchester Winchester What a thoughtful thing to do. It is a good thing to take the time to thank somebody. They won't forget what you did for them and you just might need their services again.
