Well today I had the pleasure of adopting (or taking into foster care) my "grand kitty". He is under quarentine, hence the unfortunate cage surrounding him. He has a nasty (and I do mean nasty) case of earmites and coccidia (seems like they all come with that these days). My adult child thought he was ready for cat ownership...he can barely take care of himself let alone this little guy. Since he cannot afford proper vet care he agreed to let me take him - at least for a time. Meet Loki...

.

I believe he's going to be a longhaired smoke tuxedo mix. He's black on top and has a cotton white undercoat. Very interesting to look at! Will post some better pics once he is well!

Thanks! Can't wait for him to be better so he can play with my other cat kids!

What a cutie! I was wondering how he could be your "grandkitty", you are very nice to take him in ;)

Poor baby has secondary ear infections from having had mites for so long. No more mites so treating the infection now. He's a nice little fellow!

Yep! He's our unexpected number six! He's very sweet. My older girls at giving him a few grumbles and hisses but I'm sure they will warm up to him in a few days. He is friendly to all.

Well congrats on the addition.   Has your kitty count really doubled since you joined this forum only 3 months ago?

It is fun! Early in the morning and late at night they rip and race around here!
