When i got home from work i made myself a drink and sat on the couch. I was drinking a straight whiskey on ice, and maybe had half of it already and some of the ice melted so it was watered down just a little. Well i got up for not even 10 seconds to get a snack and i turned around to see my cat licking my whiskey. I screamed no and she stopped, so she maybe had like 2 or 3 licks of my drink. Will she be fine or do i need to be concerned?

Whiskey is made from barley corn rye and wheat. I am guessing she should be just fine. There are animals in the wild that eat fermented berries sometimes and get a little tipsy off of them. It seems like she just had a few licks, so probably nothing.

Ok, thank you. She ended up being ok. That just freaked me out. Im usually really good about keeping stuff up and out of reach. But she was sleeping right next to me and i was up for no more than 10 seconds, and that was all it took. I shouldve known better, because she will constantly try to drink out of my water glasses if im not looking, and if i ever leave a soda cup out with a straw she will jump up and steal my straw. So im always on the look out. I tell you what tho, she was extremely lovable after that lol
