Thoughts on Newmans Own?

I am considering this for 2 cats, 1 diabetic with very early kidney changes and 1 with kidney lymphoma. It seems low carb and pretty low phos. I would be switching from Fancy Feast Pate. I saw this in the store. Any thoughts on it from more experienced nutrition people here?

Bumping this in the hopes that someone with experience with kidney issues and diabetes will chime in.

It sounds pretty good. At one point I considered it for my kidney cat, but it's higher in fat than I like for her (she has trouble digesting high fat foods).

It is definitely lower in phosphorous than Fancy Feast Pate while still being low carb.

Phos are definitely better than FF Pate, but still over 1% (I have a kidney cat, and TRY to stay under 1%, but then again, if mine wants FF, she gets it ).  When I ran this Newmans thru my Carb Calculator, I get 17.27%, which is probably higher than you'd want for a diabetic cat.
