cat wont drink water or any other liquid

early last Friday morning he threw up foamy spit; nothing in it. then blood diarrhea. took him to vet. they took xray. nothing wrong, they gave him antibiotics. they thought it was colitis. they gave him a pill for nausea too. they gave him bolus...liquid under the skin. he seemd a little better but would not drink. he goes up to the water bowl looks at it liks his lips, walks away.  next day took him to another vet; they did ultrasound, blood work. nothing showed up. no kidney problem, no infections, no problem with anything. they gave him more liquids through i.v. he eats a little dry food, wont eat can food, wont eat tuna, but he is a finicky eater. they gave me Prozac for him for anxiety. no change. they have no clue what is wrong with him. does not have a fever.   oh...and he hardly meows at all which is not like him at all. he was always a busy talker. I am keeping him in my bedroom away from my other 2 inside-only cats. the vet has no clue, I have no clue. no urinary problem. I can force feed baby food through a syringe or kitten milk substitute. the onset of all of this was sudden. oh, and they gave me a script for antacid. any clues?  cant find anything like this on internet. thanks. lou, for 'mr lewis'  you can email me at [email protected]

How old is he?  What does he normally eat?  Did they check for a blockage?
