Soulistic and other food on sale at Petco

Soulistic pouches are BOGO at Petco now until Nov. 7 as part of Petco's 50th anniversary sale Lots of other foods and supplies on sale as well. I posted more into about the Petco sale here: http://www.thecatsite.com/forum/newestpost/306858

I just bought some Soulistic yesterday and 4 of the cans i bought were expired, like 6 months past their expiration date. Just an FYI to consumers to check the dates before you leave the store.

I've found outdated Nature's Variety Instinct canned foods there. I told an employee who was working in the cat food section. She could not have cared less. I ended up telling the cashier when I went to pay. She had the manager go pull them off the shelves.

I almost never go into Petco because I'm just not a fan of big box pet stores (for reasons like this). I was buying some Soulistic but i think I'm going to stick with Weruva and buying from chewy.com

I'm not a fan of those stores either. my cats actually prefer the Soulistic to the Weruva though. They are SO picky. I actually had a can of Good Karma and Paw Lickin Chicken side by side once and the only difference I could see was that the gravy in the PLC looked slightly different.       They will turn their noses up at the PLC but will inhale the GK and the Harvest Sunrise so I have to go to Petco. 

I always have to check my Petco receipt because they overcharge me all the time. Last week, they charged me twice for a can of GK. I went back in and told the girl I'd just get another one. They will eat it but it's annoying. 

Petsmart has these boxes next to the Nutro Natural Choice. The box says buy 12 get 2 free or something like that. You fill the box and they scan it and the price SHOULD come off. It never does.They always try to cheat me out of the 2 free cans because the offer is "expired". I tell them that as long as they keep the boxes on the shelves, they have to honor it. They always give it to me. This has been going on for months.
