How much to feed main coon kitten

My Main Coon kitten is just under 20 weeks and weighs 2.7kg. I feed him the Iams kitten food which does agree with him but it says for up to 3kg it says feed him 75g a day, which does not seem to be enough. I know they eat allot more then your normal cat.

With kittens, feeding to appetite is most often recommended. Personally, I would also feed at least some wet food - it helps with hydration and gives a bigger portion size, as well as giving him different flavours of food. A food rotation (different flavours/brands) can be a good habit to get into too - that way, you're not in a mess if the food is discontinued or changed. It will also make it easier to switch him onto a prescription diet if it ever became necessary in the future (hopefully it won't, but it's worth being aware of when setting up lifelong eating habits ).

It's also worth looking at taking extra measures to ensure good hydration - especially if you want to stick to an all dry diet. A cat's thirst drive isn't strong enough to compensate for the dryness of kibble without a little extra encouragement.
