Gorgeous! We've been watching it off and on since the beginning. It's down to about a sliver right now. If you've clean skies, get outside and check it out!

We're not getting it over here... but the moon was pretty jolly impressive last night!

It may have been see-able at about 5th but I was asleep and sorry to miss it. I won't be around for the next one.
Thank goodness.

I didn't know what time the eclipse was to happen. I looked out my window and saw a full moon, or what I thought might have been a full moon but didn't stand and watch. I figure seeing it in a picture would be no different than actually standing there wasting my time watching it live as it happened.  So today I lived vicariously through pictures that my friends took!  LOL

We took our kiddos outside to watch for it between the clouds.  We didn't have the best view; but the kids finally fell into bed when there was just a sliver left.  DH and I went back outside and got to see the full eclipse for a bit.  DD wanted to get out the telescope and I kind of wish we could have.  But I wasn't' prepared for that.  Not that you need a telescope to see it; it just would have been interesting to look at it during the height of the eclipse.

We didn't get the eclipse over here but we had a gorgeous huge silver moon.

Does anyone else notice that it affects their cats? Mine have all been very vocal and active for the past few days.

We got the binoculars out to see it. Our son has a telescope, but he forgot about it and didn't get it out.

Just beautiful!!! Here in Nebraska it was clear and that huge moon was right above the horizon. I watched it until 9:30 Central time and then it was past my bedtime. Unless you keep watching you probably wouldn't even know what it was, it just looks basically like the different stages of a crescent moon! But it was fascinating to watch. (plus I got to see who comes in and eats my catfood after dark!)

  Moonlight snackers!

We went in and out.  I could have sat there; but it was late for our kiddos.  When the last meteor shower went through I got DD out of bed and took her outside for a while.  She loved it!
