Hi guys, I'm new to the forum so I'm sorry if A similar question has been asked and answered already. I adopted Oliver at 5 months about a weeks ago, and I feed him a can of 3 oz fancy feast 2 times a day. He's gained a little weight but when I got him he was very boney. He always acts like he is starving and I will give him a little dry food during the day while I'm in class but he's still starving by dinner. Is it normal for kittens this age to gain weight that fast and to be hungry ALL the time?

Kittens are always hungry, has he been wormed, that makes them hungry too. Maybe while he is young you should bigger cans of food rich in protein
I agree with bonepicker, particularly about protein! If you're feeding Fancy Feast, the classic pates are best because they don't have wheat gluten. Kittens can be super-active, so they eat a lot!
