I posted a bunch like...4 years ago, but now I am back! I did have three tiny kittens I saved from the death sentence of being born outdoors to my mother in law's cat. I raised them with the intent of finding them good homes, which eventually happened! We moved, 16 hours away from our previous home, and have since had a little boy, with a little girl due in 3 weeks.

Being the insane people we are, 3 weeks before my due date, we finally decided it was time to adopt a new kitty! We played with a few bonded pairs and fell in love with two 3 year old girlies, originally named Lola and Sylvia. They weren't scared of our little boy (who is awesome at being gentle with animals, by the way!) and were willing to say hello. The clincher for my husband was their adoption fee being "on sale" because of their markings (tuxedo and tortie!).

We are loving them to pieces, and have renamed them Andromeda and Carina, shortened by our little boy to Annie and Rina. They are enjoying exploring their new home. Rina's favorite spot is behind our television, and Annie likes to sleep in the bottom drawer of my husband's desk!

Above is Annie with my little boy (Who adores crawling after them meowing. He can't get over there being cats in HIS house!

Below is my Rina girl! She is a big love bug already!
