So today, while I was busy, my friend offered to brush my cat.. when I was feeding my cat , he smelled like powder! I called her, and she said after she brushed him, she "cleaned off the access hair" by using a wet wipe on his FACE, tail and back! I have no idea how he let her wipe his face, but apparently she found a way. I searched and everyone says they need to be scent free.. I wiped my cat down with a damp rag, but I am not sure how much is taken off... the package says Alcohol Free and Hypoallergenic. What should I do? Could he develop issues from this?

Oh no, that must've been really unpleasant for your cat. If she used wet wipes meant to come in contact with humans/babies, the chances that they're dangerous for your cat are really low. If you're worried keep an eye on him and call the vet if you notice any symptoms of illness popping up, but most likely the worst is over for your kitty. I'd let your friend know that you appreciate the gesture, but wet wipes are for humans :)

I agree with pippapurring pippapurring that there is probably a very low risk if these wet wipes are meant for human babies/kids. I also think you did the right thing by wiping your cat down with a damp rag with water only.
As long as kitty seems fine, they probably are.
