Good afternoon ya'll! (in my Texan accent)

Today is Zack's birthday; he is 24 years old. I got him the Transformer that forms into a Subaru and same safety goggles from Craftman (Sears)...he needed the safety goggles and wanted the toy

I am just tidying up around the house right now and about to get a light lunch and get ready for the in-laws to come in. They should be here in about 3 more hours. They are taking us both out for our birthdays (since mine is on Wednesday). They are taking us to The Aquarium downtown. YUMMY! I have never been, but I have heard it is very good!

Well, Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Have a great weekend!!

Movin' on up!
Whew! Its just a bit past noon and I'm already tired. I've done three loads of laundry, broken three fingernails and taken Pearl for her shots.

We go to a low-cost clinic, at a pet store/gift shop and it is a mob scene. Between wanting to play with all of the other dogs and trying to help herself from the toy bins, Pearl is worse than a little kid. They had a couple of white, shorthaired cats for sale and Pearl wanted to play with them, too. Lucky for her, they were in a cage. Judging from their growls, I don't think that they like dogs.

On the way home, I found out that she doesn't like motorcycles. There was a guy on a Harley, next to us at a red light and she started barking and growling at him. I guess that the bike w/sidecar for her, is out.

Just getting ready to run a couple of errands. Kitty food and BC pills are on the agenda. Fun fun.

Ophelia was supposed to go to the vet yesterday, but all we managed to do was scare the hell out of her trying to catch her. Appt. is rescheduled for next Friday and we'll try again. *sigh* She is SO hard to get into a carrier and once she gets a whiff of what we are trying she is impossible to catch. By bedtime she had basically forgiven us, wanting loves and even slept with me last night. She's just so smart and remembers everything so next Friday should be interesting. A few months in between is one thing but just a week....I don't know how we're going to do it.

Going to the Annual Meeting for a Gun Club that sponsors our Juniors and our National Team. I was told that Dad and I *should* be there, so I hope that means more than just we should show our faces there. Dad is so busy right now, and he's really taking time out of his schedule to go to this dinner that he doesn't have. I have things I should be doing as well tonight, but we'll be there. Smiling.
LOL

Working today. Sometimes I hate working retail. Its so cold, I am afraid to go outside. I was going to shop last night, but the thought of having to walk back and forth to the car in the parking lot was too much for me. I will have to make another pet food run again soon, though, and hope that the stocks of the beasts' regular stuff is there.

I am also having a frustrating time with Sam. He has peed on a a couple of cat beds, I have talked to our vet about it, and we know its behavioural, but I can't get them clean enough for him to lose interest, even though they are doused with enzyme cleaner stuff. I am seriously considering just ditching these, and starting over with new from the store. I did catch him looking seriously interested in one, and just tapped on the hood of the litter box, and he decided he better use the proper spot that time at least.

Right here! :)
We had a quet day that started really late

When my s/o woke up (he was working the night shift last night, well and is off to the next night shift now), we went swimming. We haven´t been swimming for such a long time, all the swimming underwater, diving and jumping into the pool, that Oliver could do after the two swimming courses have to be worked on again. We had a great time though and Oliver was quicker than I thought accepting all the diving
I quess ones they learn this, it sticks

I spent all day since 8am to 5.30 installing a new burglar alarm system in to a neighbour for free - saved him a few hundred quid. Then drove round trip to the mother in law of 120 miles to collect something Carol wanted.
Am soo tired now - am gonna head off to bed early and get some serious zzzzzzzzz mentally exhausted!

Last night was rough.. I went somewhere I didn't wanna go to do something I didn't wanna do and then we had to be there til 4am.. But hey I had to take one for the team I guess. Me and my new bf ended up staying at my friends house and I think it was way too soon for him to see me look like crap in the morning but Oh well I guess we'll see lol. I looked pretty bad too..

Today I have been cleaning and doing laundry and giving roxygo some attention since I've been gone for like 2 weeks straight almost. I got these really cute and somewhat fitting jeans (i have a weird bodyshape so it's very rare to find any that remotely fit both my waist and hips) but unfortunately they are about 5 inches too long so I'm going to hem them before I go out. Hemming jeans just never turns out right but at least I won't trip over myself..

Tonite I guess I'm going to the new bf's house and then we're gonna go check out his friends band. I would so rather sleep but I already made plans so I would feel bad backing out. I hope I don't get the plague again though because that was rough. Is it summer yet??

Everyone have an awesome day!! Stay safe and beautiful

Sammie - I know this sounds strange, but try cleaning the cat beds with Vodka. There's something in it that breaks down the enzymes in the cat urine that works better than most commercial enzymatic cleaners. (Or so I understand, I read it in a book and a couple people here have tried it with great success.) You just have to air it out for a while so your place doesn't smell like a bar at closing.
