What else can you grind in a meat grinder?

I recently got a Bosch mixer instead of a food processor so I could have a meat grinder (for cat food, of course). I was thinking about getting the food processor attachment for it, but it's more expensive than getting a separate food processor!! And my kitchen can't fit another whole appliance...

Today I ran pitted dates through it (twice) to make a date paste for a recipe, then on a whim threw a chopped apple and some hazelnuts in to push out the last bit of dates stuck in there. Made it easier to clean, plus an extra snack! And now I'm wondering.... what else can I use a meat grinder instead of a food processor for? And what should I avoid (to not break the grinder)? Can it make nut flours/butter?

So, what else have you successfully put through a meat grinder? Any other tips for a new meat grinder owner?

I use ours to make cranberry relish for the holidays.I run the cranberries, apples, and oranges through the grinder, then mix in the amount of sugar I need.
