My little Willow Wonka seems to be very picky when it comes to food, like many other cats.

I found something interesting, if I present her with a can of Fancy Feast Chicken pate and a nice portion of Hound&Gatos Rabbit pate, she'll eat neither.  She thinks I'll keep bringing out food, until she gets her way and I lay down the kibble.

This time, I took away the chicken pate and just left the rabbit pate, she ate a bit of the rabbit.

Maybe the psychological warfare is working and she thinks I'm running out of food. Or sometimes, if I change the dish it's on she'll eat it.

Or, if I hand feed her, she'll eat some pate. Picky gal eh?

Any other similar tricks you folks have tried to get kitty back on the wet food?

My cats don't eat dry but they run hot and cold towards different wet foods. If they start rejecting a certain food, I'll pull it from the rotation for a while and then reintroduce it later. This usually works.

Yes or toppers of tiny kibble bits or Purebites freeze dried chicken gets them to eat. I recently bought the tiki gourmet carnivore sample pack. The cat loved trying a different one each night.

Maybe she just doesn't like those flavors or she's bored. Some cats just dislike certain foods. You might try adding some other flavors/variety to spark her interest in her wet food.
