Swarmed by Cats due to Lip Balm!

With the cold weather we've had here, my lips are really chapped and sore. I bought some Blistex Lip Ointment and out it on tonight (and it is wonderful!) and all of a sudden, I was besieged by cats!

They come up, pushing one another out of the way to get to me, sniff my lips, get almost cross-eyed, and then walk away. I looked at the ingredients, it must be the camphor and menthol. I've heard before that cats are attracted to those. So much for trying to watch the news tonight! All I saw were cats!

.... The kitties must think that your lip balm is a potent form of cat nip

My mom has the same problem if she uses Vicks Vapo-Rub ! Strange kitties!

lol.... My cats love vaseline ...lol its like back off boys.

I've had several cats, who were attracted by hair spray. They would actually burrow into my hair and one of them used to try to pull off my long, curly hairpiece.

They do make better doors than windows, don't they? LOL

I have the same problem with Carvol Vapour rub, it's full of menthol and I have to wash my hands really quickly before Jeepers tries to eat it.
