Laat Tuesday, I got my cat spayed at a local vet. Two nights later, I woke up to her having removed her e-collar. It was the middle of the night, and my tired eyes thought her spay incision stitches looked fine. The next morning I noticed it was a little red, but the skin glue still looked in tact. By Saturday I saw that there was a little bit of pus coming out, but I couldn't get her back to the vet until Tuesday evening. They restitched her internally and externally, instead of gluing her again. I noticed this evening that after her being active (you can't stop her from running around, and hates being crated) one of her middle stitches tore.

She hasn't been touching them, or licking them. Just one ripped after jumping around. I can't afford to take her to the vet again, not until next Friday - when she's due to get them removed.. what do I do? The incision is clean, and the skin hasn't split where the stitch is ripped. She's on antibiotics in ensure that the pus didn't cause a blood infection.

What do I do for my little muffin cat? She's not in any pain, I just don't want to see any other stitches get ripped.

If she's not bleeding and the incision looks good, not red or angry looking, I'd not worry about it too much.  Did she get some antibiotics for the infection last week?

Yes, she is on antibiotics. She actually has been more calm the last couple of hours. No running around lately, mostly relaxing on the bed. The entire wound looks good, just a little pink from the stitches yesterday.

Are you confining her to one room to hopefully discourage high levels of physical activity? I would just keep an eye on it. Hope it turns out okay!
