Once when I was out of town for a weekend, Sunday morning I get a call from my boyfriend. My cat decided to show him her displeasure at my absence by bringing a mouse inside. And shredding it to a million pieces all over the couch.

Another time I caught her looking shifty as she ran into the bedroom. Good thing I noticed, because she was stashing a dead bird in the box spring!
Wow. That is gross. I would be scarred.

Awesome thread.

My turn...:)
My littlest boy likes to catch crickets and eat them. But he leaves the legs in a little pile.

My girl not only climbed the Cmas tree during the middle of the night one year, she looked absolutly crazed while doing. She went to the center and circled it up and down, frantically, 10 mph.

My Maine Coone made it a habit to pee in the a/c and heat vents. Momma was not happy. He also dislikes my mom and when my parents visited, he pooped perfectly in the center of her pillow. He made sure it was her pillow, not my dads. Even.my mom had to laugh about that one.

And my most quirky kitty...he used to roll in the litterbox and then take a bunch with him.in hus fur, leaving it all over the house, wherever he would lay down. Im talking up to a half cup.of litter, in his fur. I finally figured out he would only stop if I was using Tidy Cat brand. Also, he opens everything. Cat food containers with metal locking clasps, doors with any type of handle, locks, cupboards, and even.gets through two child safety locks used on one cupboard. He has even lifted the a/c and heat vent covers from the floor and removed them. I had to screw them down.

I should mention that before I screwed down the vent covers, I covered one with a wooden dresser to keep him out. He moved the dresser and popped off the cover and walked off. You cant make that up.

I generally only have one cat at a time, so let me do this chronologically.

Grey, Russian Blue.  I was in second grade when we got him, and had him 14 years, astounding for a full Tom who lived outdoors most of the time.  Had a pituitary disorder, and finally quit growing at 20" at the shoulder, weighed 29 pounds of muscular, fighting tom.  Used to disappear for days into the woods and come home beat to heck and back.  Trip to the vet, lie around the house till he's fat and sassy again, then back out.  A local hunter came to the house one day and said, "Hey, I know why that tom of yours is all beat up.  Come look in the back of the truck."  There was the prettiest (dead) gunmetal blue bobcat you've ever seen.  Grey was fighting the bobcat toms for breeding rights...and winning!

Ophelia, black domestic short hair, 5 months old, spaying scheduled.  Broke out a double-paned window, tore out a screen, jumped 20 feet to the ground.  Came home 2 days later, great with kitten.

Primus.  Ginger tom, neutered.  Thought he was a dog.  Followed the kids everywhere.  Walked my husband home from work (5 blocks away) every night.  Insisted on taking baths and showers with me.  You have not truly had a bathing experience till you've tried to relax in a tub of hot bubble bath with 14 pounds of wet tomcat lying across your chest.

Berry.  Longhaired dilute calico.  Not really naughty, but she raised a litter of orphaned Pomeranian puppies with her first, and only, litter of kittens.  Litterbox trained the whole milling mass of them.  Puppies thought they were kittens.  A wee bit of species confusion going on there.

Hekitty.  Torty.  Hellion.  Can open every door in the house.  Has not learned to unlock deadbolt...YET.

Hooks paw under lower cabinet doors, opens a crack and lets bump shut repeatedly until Mom gets up and gets a treat.  Makes me sleep dead center of a king sized bed.  If I stray too far to either side, she

puts her paws in my back and shoves me over to the middle again.  Both sides are HERS.  Climbs on the top shelf of the hall closet and jumps down behind me with a loud THUMP, making me scream like a little girl.  Occasionally walks across computerjasglkjept' yhwrp[buib, tunltjk. keyboard, leaving cryptic messages...see previous.  Refuses to drink from anything but the toilet bowl, necessitating my cleaning the toilet on a daily basis, rather than twice a week.  Runs amok squalling, then suddenly sits down and looks at me as if to say, "See, I'm wild."  2nd degree smurgler extraordinaire.  Thank goodness she doesn't drool, but the kneading has left my right arm looking like I have a skin disease.  Sleeps on my head in cold weather.  Or under the covers, where she crawls around brushing me with her whiskers.

I was sleeping, one of the cats climbs on my chest and without a blink empties his bladder right on my chest, that was perhaps nastiest wake up they have arranged to me.

Great topic!

Once, I bought a big bag of dry food, back when I was feeding them half dry half wet.  For some reason, maybe because it was later or something, instead of setting it inside my garage like I usually do until I get ready to open it, I put it beside their plastic floor container in the kitchen.  I fully expected to see it intact the next morning.  Boy was I wrong!

Overnight, they had torn into the bag and about half of it (a 27 pound bag!) had spilled out on the floor!   It was probably Oreo, he has a carb addiction, but I bet he had help!  Curiously, no one was the least bit hungry for breakfast.

:D

Lilith had some recent bouts of naughtiness. Lately, she's been picking on Henry and the dog sometimes. Sophie not as much. Lily likes to choose which dish she wants at mealtime (if she decides to eat when the others are eating). She expects that the other 2 will wait until she picks a dish (all 3 are identical ) and then they can eat. If Henry sniffs around too soon, he gets A- hissed at, B- Slapped or C- BOTH. She's half his size but she cares not a bit.

The dog gets it too. Bailey is a 40 pound, 13 year old border collie and is very gentle with all 3 kitties. She never bothers them. Recently, she was relaxing in the living room when Lily the queen diva (all of 6 pounds) was walking by to go in my room. Lily paused while going past her, slapped her face and then kept going. Poor Bailey was so surprised that she didn't know how to react. She looked around and then at me like, "WHAT was THAT about?". I felt bad but it was funny. She wasn't hurt at all, just shocked. I wasn't surprised. Lily is alpha in my house and wants everyone to know it.

Macha can be naughty at times mostly when I am here posting, she want attention lol  when I am typing she'll bite my lap tap so I'll wait till she goes to nap. When I go to bed and she's not ready yet, she sits besides (close to my face) and then fart oh my gosh what a naughty girl LOL

My mom and me left some ham on the table. We went somewhere, and when we came back, the ham was no longer there. My cat ate it XD

We had dry fish on the table. My family and me we're away, so when we came back we wanted the fish, and we couldn't find it. My dog smelled like fish. So we think my cat made the fish fall off the table, and let me dog eat it. :3

I can no longer trust Riley to be put on my lap when I'm laying in bed or to just be put on the bed.
She will pee on me and she has done it few times before as well as pooped on the bed.  -_-

*sigh* Riley...

LOL!  And the moral of this story is, if you're going to have some sort of meat on the table, do NOT, go ANYWHERE!  Animals can't be trusted around food! Lol.

Hes meowing again he talks all day long. He is Oobie my male Tuxedo cat. He climbs onto the screen of the garage door and screams to get out.Sometimes when I think that the door is closed he shows me it is not and he is in the garage and under the SUV. He stays under there for quite a while until I loose my temper and try to get him out with a can of food. Right now he is at it again meowing to get out. This goes on all day until I give in leash him up and take him into the yard. This quiets him down while he explores. However after he eats hes at it again. His eating consists of taking a few bites of his beef cuts and walking away. Two or three minutes later he cries for more although there is still food in his dish. He will not eat this and only wants fresh food. This is what I go through on a daily basis. He walks around talking all the time, at the most disturbing times. I also have two female cats that hate each other. They both like him. He sometimes is the referee when they fight. When the neighbors cats who are both males escape outside in the warm weather and happen to go by the windows. and my cats happen to be there all hell breaks loose. They all start howling and tearing at the screens hissing and clawing to try and get at each other until I have to try  to stop them which can cause lamps to fall and all kinds of  breakage to happen. It is getting late.and of course Oobie is howling to go out wright now. He is neutered so who knows what he really wants. I could not love them any more than I do but maybe I can, I have a lot more cat stories to tell, but my son just walked in and needs feeding as he is almost 22 six foot three cut and has an unbelievable  ability to consume large amounts of food unlike Oobie who is impussable.

OMG! This story reminded me of another of mine. I have a cat named Shaina (Absynnian / tabby / mix). I like to wear big earrings, some of which are kind of jangly and make fun noises. Shaina liked them, too. She figured out it was a great way to get my attention out of a dead sleep. She used to wake me up every morning at 4am by picking up one of my most jangly / jingly earrings in her mouth, trotting out of the bedroom into the hallway headed towards the kitchen, swishing her head back and forth to make as much noise as possible. That would jolt me awake, and I would stumble in a sleepy stupor in her general direction.

As soon as she had sights on me, she would turn around and face me, drop the earring on the tile floor, and yowl fiercely for food.

I decided to buy a large jewelry chest so she couldn't carry off my treasures anymore and I could sleep to a more normal hour. But then she started knocking dishes out of the sink instead.

OH OH OH...I laughed so hard when I read that...and banished Hekitty from the room so she wouldn't get any ideas.   She's been known to sit on the back of the chair behind my head and bat gently at dangly earrings.   I don't need her stealing them, or knocking dishes out of the sink, either!  Mine are Blue Willow, and very old.  Well, the plates are.  The serving pieces are new.
