I like to stock up on bigger cans of cat food 12oz and up.  I usually stick to grain free but sometimes supplement with Fancy Feast Classics and Trader Joe's.  I'm wondering why Triumph is so cheap.  I'm looking at the ingredients and they look okay to me except for the fish and rice flour.  What do you think?  I am worried that it's not grain free, but it's $17 for 12 cans.  Right now Wellness is going for $28 for 12 cans.

I still have food right now but I like to stock up when I find a really good deal.  Just asking for future reference. Thanks!

Never tried it, should I? I want to get good cat food because I was told to by my mom. My dad too.

Can't say why it's so inexpensive.   Ingredients don't seem too bad.

@mrsgreenjeens   Thanks for the input.  I like to buy food online which limits me to buying in cases.  I'm cautious so I'm suspicious as to why it's so cheap.

@CowAndChicken3   If you live in the US you can shoot the Triumph company an email and ask for samples.  That's what I did and I received mine today.  I'm going to feed and update.  If they like it, I'll add it to the rotation.

So I fed the turkey and chicken and the cats aren't enthused.

My oldest just refused to eat it by itself and she isn't picky. She loves canned food and was hungry. Also, both the turkey and the chicken smelled off somehow. My boy did eat it though. I don't think I'll be buying anymore of the brand. I'll update if the other flavors go any better.

Pros: company very generous with samples (6 cans, 1 day after request), cheap, okay ingredients, comes in 12.5 oz

Cons: smells off somehow, my non picky cats don't like it
