Why does my cat purr so much???

I posted a question awhile back worried that my cats breath was agitated. But i've been watching her, and its not that her breath is agitated.

When i see her breathing fast, i touch her belly. And its just that shes purring. I can feel the rumble of her purr.

She purrs all the time! Is that normal? Its only when shes asleep that her stomach moves slowly. Otherwise whenever i see her shes purring by herself.

 

i read that deep purr can signal pain and distress... whats a deep purr?

Some cats enjoy purring.  And yes some cats purr if they are stressed or ill, but if your cat is otherwise healthy, and eating, drinking pee and pooping and not lethargic then i would enjoy the purrs!

Funny thing is she'll want stroking but wanna bite you a the same time! It's not a proper bite just playing. She climbs up on my chest nuzzles my cheek purring then bite my ear lol she thinks it's funny I'm sure lol
