Persephone has some seasonal allergies and just came back from the vet a couple of days ago with a prescription of Chlorpheniramine Maleate (1/2 tablet twice a day) and was given a shot of Convenia. He reminded me that she is due for her 3 year rabies shot soon, and suggested that we wait until her allergy flare up goes away. Tomorrow, the animal shelter is doing low-cost vaccinations and is giving $5 rabies shots, which would save me quite a bit of money, but it has been less than a week since I took her to the vet. Would it be safe for me to take her to the low-cost to get the vaccination? Or would it be better for me to wait it out. I'd rather not put her under more stress than she is, or worse. Thanks for any suggestions.

I think this is really a question FOR a Vet, all things considered.
