Greetings all and hello from Ireland!  I'm the proud mammy of two wonderful young(ish) boy cats, Fuzzy and Pierre. I drive everyone crazy talking about them IRL so I decided I needed to go somewhere there would be people who understand!

A few pics:

Fuzzy is the big one, Pierre is the Kitler. They are both such joys.

Thank you all for the welcome!

So, Fuzzy is around 2-3 years old. I adopted him in February. He'd been found in a feral colony as a kitten, and spent a long time in foster care because he was so shy. It took a lot of patience with him, but the day he finally crawled onto my lap I nearly cried with joy and happiness. He's super-affectionate now, and likes to sleep cuddled up next to me or on top of me even. I don't get a lot of sleep, but I don't mind!

My niece and nephew (age 6) gave him his name. It's Fuzzyhead in full.

Pierre joined us just about a month ago. I wanted a companion for Fuzzy because he looked so forlorn every time I left the house to go to work or somewhere else. I was also concerned about him not getting a lot of exercise - he's an indoor cat and he doesn't play much - he'll chase around a toy on his own sometimes, but I can't get him to play with me. So I went back to the same rescue that brought Fuzzy into my life, and they recommended Pierre as a good personality match. He is around 1-2 years and was found as a stray. He's also a bit shy, but was much quicker than Fuzzy to show affection. My sister gave him his name.

I tried to take their introduction slowly, but they themselves were so anxious to meet, it took only a week!

The boys get on mostly really well. Fuzzy is still a little precious about some things (like his spot on the cat tree, and if Pierre is getting affection from me he comes running over to remind Pierre who really owns me
).  Pierre's getting a bit bolder all the time though. They play together well and Fuzzy is definitely getting a lot more exercise. They look great together too, you'd think they're brothers!

Having cats is the best thing that ever happened to me. I wish I'd thought of it sooner.
