Do you find there is a difference in brands?  I know Swanson was out of their own brand for several weeks, and I used the alternative;  since switching back to Swanson's brand I have had virtually NO hairballs from Obi and Mittens, but it could just be coincidence...

What was the alternative?  I know of only TWO Egg Yolk Lecithins on the market.  ONE is Nature's Plus, which actually looks and feels like boiled egg yolks in a capsule.  It's not in powdered form too much, so you must dig it out of the capsule with some sort of utensil.  I use a teeny measuring spoon that I got from Amazon called a smidgen.  The other is Swanson's to which you refer in your post.  I find that both work great.   Did you find a completely different one?  I googled and googled trying to find an alternative when Swanson's was on backorder, but never found anything.  (Tinky wont eat the Nature's Plus, that's what put me in a bind)

Yes, Nature's Plus is the other one, which is also powdered but much more difficult to remove from the capsule. The Swanson brand pours out.  My cats ate both but I prefer Swansons.
