Hi,
I need asap help regarding my cat. He's developing these weird looking bruises out of nowhere that are bleeding aand making his fur fall off at the spot

Also he has these weird looking bruises on his nose

Can someone please let me know what this is? I disinfected all the bruises but more are appearing. And I'm worried about using any ointment..

I should mention here that he's a house cat but 4 days go he managed to leave the house for a couple of hours at night and my house is in the outskirts with insects of all sorts. And i did pick out some tick like insects on him after his return from his stroll around the woods

Can someone suggest something ??

Are any of those furred sites the same sites from which you removed bugs?

A couple of the sites yes but the ones on the nose and behind his neck I didn't remove or notice any bugs there.

Ticks put anticoagulant into where they attach.  I would expect to see more external bleeding, though, if they were from attachments of an especially fierce variety of tick.

From the pictures, they do not appear as bruises.

Did you keep any of those bugs?

I suggest you take him to the Veterinarian in the morning.

Well there is bleeding.. In about 5 places and one more just appeared. Also i think they were ticks as these bruises ir wounds or whatever appeared the day after i yanked those insects off.

No i killed them by squishing them..they were roundish in shape, four legged and black in color sort of attached onto his skin. And when i squished them some black liquid oozed out.

I sure will take him.to the vet, i just wanted to know what the hell was going on. I got worried sick seeing them.appearing outta nowhere on him. Hope he gets okay soon [emoji]128542[/emoji]

See, some of them could have been within easy enough reach for him to detach them himself.

Keep him inside to protect him from fly access.  When you take him to the Veterinarian tomorrow, drape his travel crate (or travel container) to protect him from fly access.

In the future, do not smash any ticks unless you are draped in occlusive material (or protective garments) and wearing a protective mask and goggles.

Ticks are eight-legged.  Follow all that advice anyway, Dear.

Sorry -- adult ticks are eight-legged.  They were likely ticks.

I just panicked I guess.. I didn't know what to do but thanks for the advice. I'll be more careful in the future.

Ok noted but should I give him a bath? He isn't very dirty but my mom's been pushing me to bathe him. But I'm worried about the wounds that they might hurt or get worse.
