Took our kitten to the vet yesterday and they suspect she has worms. So we need to give her a pill today, and one in 2 weeks. How should we give this to her? I think were just gonna open her mouth and drop it in, then squirt some water behind. But is this pill too big? I was thinking of cutting it in half or quarters, but dont want to crumble the pill in the process. Is this way too big, or does it need to be cut in half or quarters?

I find that the easiest way to pill is to use the Pill Pockets;my Tiger loved the Duck/Pea flavored ones made for dogs, so I only used 1/3 at a time.  However,  once a cat tastes a bitter pill by chewing, they will develop an aversion to the pill pockets. The next easiest way is to use gelcaps, which you can get at Amazon.Dip it in butter and it will slide pretty easily;then I chase it down with baby food or something the cat likes;some syringe water, which is good too.  i do not ever dry pill my cats, most meds taste nasty.

Yeah im not sure what to do anymore. We were able to cut the pill into quarter pieces, and tried to give it to her. She spit them up every time while battling us. Then i tried crushing it up and put it in her pill, and she gets down to where the food is and can taste it...and doesnt eat it
