My poor baby has twitches in his back and tail. He attacks his tail because of it. The Vet put him on Neurontin. It seems to calm him down and sleep. But its not a cure. He just lays around sleeping more. If I skip a dose he's his old self again and energetic until the twitches begin again! Should I bring him back in for tests. They hardly did any tests for it. No x ray , . Routine blood work done. It was addressed during his yearly dental cleaning appointment. Any one have any suggestions ?[emoji]128542[/emoji]

Research Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome. Sounds like he's got a mild case of it. Perhaps the medication needs to be adjusted so that he's not so wiped out and can be a bit more active.
