Hi, I picked up a Kitten whose mom got ran over by a truck 2 weeks ago and it was really small (180gramm at 5 weeks of age).Within the last 2 weeks it doubled its weight and the vet said I should start to feed wet food. Im feeding milk replacer and small portions of wet food now leading to the cat getting somewhat fat(e.g it picked up a whole ounce just today) .. should I just switch to water instead of milk ? or feed a lot less milk than I used to (I read kittens need 10ml of liquid for every ounce and Ive been feeding accordingly)? Thanks for your advice

You are supposed to fed them 8 cc or ml per ounce. So a 12 ounce kitten should receive 96 cc in a 24 hour period. My kittens are 5 weeks old and are eating primarily wet food with milk once a day. They prefer the food though. Each kitten is different when it is weened.
